The wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro will be well represented at Lula Lounge, with sweet Carioca sounds on full display.Opening the night will be Toronto’s own Choro Brasil, playing classics from the choro style made famous below the Rio’s Arcs of Lapa. Releasing her first CD (Aquarela), Luanda Jones will be up next, delivering a unique blend of bossa, MPB, jazz, funk and samba. Led by sambista extraordinaire Maninho Costa, Batucada Carioca will close things out with the best of samba enredo. DJ k.suede will peppering the party with Brazilian music throughout the night…
